Compassionate Support For Struggling Mothers

The path to and through motherhood isn't always what we expect. Experiences like pregnancy loss, postpartum depression or PTSD, perinatal anxiety, or other issues that can arise around pregnancy and the early years with your newborn can leave you feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and heartbroken. Often, these big challenges are faced in silence, adding to the pain. The pressure to feel a certain way can be immense, and it's easy to feel like no one understands what you're going through.

You are not alone, we've got you.

We offer specialized support from therapists who understand the unique complexities of maternal mental health.

We're Here To Help

We Support Mothers With:

Support for Pregnancy, Prenatal, Perinatal and Postpartum Mental Health

The journey into parenthood can bring great joy, but it can also be a time of emotional chaos. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, rage, or feelings of being stuck in sadness or overwhelm during pregnancy or after birth, know that you’re not alone. Together, we’ll explore your symptoms and find personalized tools to support you on this journey.

Fertility Support

The journey to parenthood isn’t always straightforward. Struggles with infertility, fertility treatments, and pregnancy loss can bring emotional exhaustion, grief, and uncertainty. The weight of hope, disappointment, and medical interventions can feel overwhelming—whether you’re navigating this alone or with a partner. We provide a compassionate space to process these emotions, strengthen resilience, and support your mental well-being at every stage of your fertility journey.

Mental Load & Burnout

Life often asks parents to wear many hats—partner, caregiver, professional, friend—and balancing these roles can be both rewarding and overwhelming. Our counseling services focus on supporting parents as they navigate unique challenges: including workplace stress, societal pressures, and outside demands to parent perfectly.

Reproductive Grief, Loss, and Trauma Counselling

Grieving a pregnancy loss or the loss of a child can feel isolating and all-consuming. We offer a safe, compassionate space for individuals and couples to process these experiences, honour their emotions, and work through the grief with gentle guidance.

Mental Health Beyond the Postpartum Period

Motherhood and parenthood doesn’t come with an expiration date on mental health challenges. While postpartum support is more widely recognized, emotional struggles can persist or emerge long after birth. Whether you’re years into parenting and still feeling the weight of unprocessed emotions, struggling with identity shifts, or facing ongoing anxiety or depression, your mental well-being still matters. We provide support for mothers at every stage—because caring for yourself is just as important as caring for your family.

Why Online Counselling? Because Life is Busy Enough

Mental health matters, but finding time for counselling can sometimes feel impossible. That’s where online therapy comes in. It’s counselling that fits into your life, not the other way around, and research shows that it works just as well as in person therapy.

  • Talk From Anywhere – No travel, no stress. Whether you're in your room, on a study break, or chilling on the couch, therapy happens wherever you're comfortable.

  • Find the Right Counsellor for You – You're not stuck with whoever’s nearby. Online counselling lets you connect with the best therapist for you, no matter where they are.

  • A Space Where You Can Be Yourself – When you’re in a familiar environment, you’re more likely to open up and get the most out of each session.

  • Private & Secure – Your sessions are confidential and use encrypted platforms designed to keep everything you share safe. It’s just you and your therapist, no one else.

Maternal Mental Health Therapy: Frequently Asked Questions

I feel guilty even thinking about getting help right now. Is that normal?

Yes. A lot of mothers tell us the same thing. It can feel selfish to focus on yourself when so much of your energy goes to your child or your family. But looking after your own mental health is part of caring for them, not separate from it. Reaching out is a reasonable thing to do, not something to feel bad about.

I'm "supposed" to be happy. Why don't I feel that way?

There's a lot of pressure to feel grateful and joyful through pregnancy and early parenthood. The reality is often more complicated. Anxiety, sadness, anger, numbness, and feeling stuck are all common, and they don't mean you're failing or that something is wrong with you as a parent. What you're feeling is real, and it's worth talking about.

I barely have time to shower. How am I supposed to fit in therapy?

This is exactly why sessions are online. There's no commute and no childcare to arrange. You can meet from your couch during a nap, after bedtime, or whenever works. If your usual schedule is unpredictable, your therapist can work with you on timing.

What I'm going through doesn't feel serious enough for therapy. Should I still reach out?

You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to talk to someone. If something feels heavy and it's hard to carry on your own, that's reason enough. The free consultation is a low-pressure way to figure out whether support would help, with no commitment to continue.

I'm not postpartum. I'm dealing with fertility struggles, a loss, or challenges years into parenting. Is this still for me?

Yes. Support here covers the whole picture, including pregnancy and the perinatal period, fertility treatments and infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, the mental load and burnout of parenting, and the emotions that can surface long after birth. Your stage doesn't have an expiry date on it.

What if I don't click with my therapist?

Fit matters, especially for something this personal. The free 20-minute consultation lets you meet first and get a feel for things before you decide anything, you can meet with up to two different therapists for free consultations. The goal is to help you find the right therapist for you, not just any available one.
