Anger Management Counselling

“Every time you feel great anger, stop and write down who or what caused your feelings and why you reacted so angrily. The goal is to get to the root of the anger. Only when you understand the source can you find a solution.”

Arun Gandhi

Finding it hard to reign in your temper?

Anger can be a good thing. It can give you a way to express negative feelings or motivate you to find solutions to problems. But excessive anger can cause problems for you and those around you.

We all know what anger is, and we've all felt it, whether as a fleeting annoyance or as full-fledged rage. Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. But when it feels out of control, it can lead to problems—problems at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life. And it can make you feel as though you're at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful emotion. If you’re struggling with anger, and looking for help before everything comes falling apart… and want to feel empowered to overcome those obstacles that are hindering your well-being, our counsellors could be the answer for you.

Our counsellors are trained to help you control your anger before it controls you.

Inherited tendencies, brain chemistry or underlying medical conditions also play a role in your tendency toward angry outbursts. You’ll learn how to identify your unique anger triggers and learn how to express your anger appropriately.

When you can recognize your frustrations before they turn into a rage, you can learn how to steady yourself in the present moment, giving yourself strength and courage.

This will allow your anger to ease away, helping you find constructive expression in times of stress so you can start living the life you want.

We promise to nurture a space where you feel safe and valued - as you are - so you can explore what you want from your future with no judgment or fear of failure.

We view anger management counselling as a joint process between you and your counsellor as we work towards a common goal — to empower positive change and improve the quality of your life — both now and in the future.

As mental health care professionals, our purpose is to help you identify your obstacles that are causing your anger. We promise to serve as your guide, helping you find your path and discover opportunities for growth along the way.

We will look at your current situation more in-depth to help you understand what’s holding you back and what’s causing you to feel so overwhelmed. From there we will get to the heart of your difficulties, make a plan, and help you develop the skills you need so you can better manage or resolve what’s troubling you.

Our goal is that by the end of our sessions you will not only have found relief, but you will feel empowered to boldly grow forward towards the life you want.

Or, let us help you find that right therapist fit.

The form takes less than 60 seconds to complete, and we’ll reach out with a couple of options for a free 20 minute consultation.
