Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Director of The Dot

About The Dot

Hello, I’m Rory Nicol, and as the Clinical Director of The Dot, I strive to provide my associates with a superior community that includes connection, support, learning opportunities and so much more. I am a psychotherapist, husband, and parent to a rambunctious kid (and I know what it’s like to strive for that work/life balance as a therapist). I live in the Georgian Bay region of Ontario but I’m originally from the GTA. I am an experienced Gestalt psychotherapist and have worked in the private mental health sector for over 7 years.

My decision to start The Dot came from my desire to increase the opportunity for people in need to receive high quality, relational and body-based psychotherapy. I want to support and promote the work of good therapists and connect them virtually with people that need support, particularly in less serviced areas of Ontario.
